Protaras, in
the south-east of Cyprus, is a very popular seaside resort which has something for everyone. It boasts some of the best and
cleanest beaches in Cyprus with its golden sand and crystal-clear, turquoise-coloured water whcih is a joy to swim in. It
is a paradise for holidaymakers.
For those who prefer more lively pursuits than relaxing on the beach, there are numerous
water sports (in nearby Fig Tree Bay) while at night time, the nearby Protaras strip hosts a myriad of bars and restaurants
of all kinds plus quite a few karaoke and disco-type bars with entertainment that appeals to all ages.
All in all, Protaras
is a fabulous holiday resort for family holidays and indeed, even for residential living, with the nearby towns of Paralimni
and Ayia Napa providing additional facilities during the winter months when Protaras becomes a beautiful haven of tranquility.
